Walking our lovely country footpaths

Star Trekkers is a group that meets once a month (usually the first Saturday of the month) to walk the lovely country footpaths in the area.  It’s a great way to get to know one another as well as introduce people to different members of the church.

Everyone is welcome

Walks are open to all and so we encourage people to bring their friends and family.  It also means you can introduce people to the church in a way that is not seen as being over-religious.

The walks are not strenuous, are typically at a good plodding pace and cover around 4 to 5 miles, so they suitable for children over the age of 6, although we don’t have any particular age cut off date.

Get to know one another

During the walk we stop for snacks and a drink that you may have bought, which also gives ample time to get to know one another.  Walks commence at 10:00am and get back to the starting point around 1pm.  Many of the walks start from a café and so on our return people can stay on and take advantage of those facilities.
